Promoting Vietnam - European Union comprehensive cooperation in the new international context

Abstract: The paper assesses the factors affecting the comprehensive cooperation partnership Vietnam - European Union over 30 years from 1990 to 2019, analysis the Vietnam - European Union cooperation over the past 30 years in the fields of politic, economic (trade and investment), development cooperation and the signing of EU - Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the EU - Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA). From the above contents, the article recommends solutions to promote comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam - European Union in the future.

Abstract: In January 2013, France conducted the Operation Serval (also called the African Wild Cat) to prevent Muslim rebels in Mali moving south. Did this military operation show the success of French intervention in Mali and demonstrated French influence, brought security stability in Mali and in the region?

Partnership limited by shares of Germany’s law and suggestions for Vietnam

Abstract: In the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, Partnership Limited by Shares (Kommanditgesellschaft auf Aktien - KGaA) is a good combination of a joint stock company and a limited partnership. The Company Law Germany’s shows a flexible combination based on a combination of two types of limited liability and unlimited liability of owners to create multiple types of enterprises for investors to choose. The paper examines and analyzes the German company law about statutory of Partnership Limited by Shares, thereby providing suggestions for the development of legal regulations on Partnership Limited by Shares added to Vietnam’s Law.

The views of the European Court of Justice over the legitimacy of hyperlinks

Abstract: Hyperlinks are basic tool for building websites and guiding users in cyberspace. Hyperlinks become important for the online services, such as searching engines, news aggregators, and social networking sites. This article examines the views of the European Court of Justice over the legitimacy of hyperlinks, in terms of protecting the intellectual property rights of copyrighted materials that are linked to hyperlinks.

Thinking about future wars with theory by Carl von Clausewitz

Abstract:War is continuation of politics with other means”. For Clausewitz, tactics is the way to use the military for the battle whereas strategy is the way to render the war to victory. Thus the military is the mean of war whose purpose is peace. That purpose is close to politics and under the guidance of politics. How are future wars to be understood in this relation with politics?

John Stuart Mill’s conception of distributive justice

Abstract: In the history of thought in general and of philosophy in particular, distributive justice is a key issue which is concerned, discussed and researched not only for thinkers but also as the needs of each citizen. This is also one of the basic goals in the process of building socialism in Vietnam today: “prosperous people, strong country, democracy, justice and civilization”. In this article, the author focuses on presenting the basic contents of the conception of John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) on distributive justice.

Vietnam - Norway relationship: Opportunities and limit challenges

Abstract: Vietnam and Norway established diplomatic relations on November 25, 1971. However, until December 2009, Vietnam officially opened an embassy in Norway; This is a turning point in strengthening the relations between the two countries in all aspects of economy, politics, culture, society, education, science and technology. The paper evaluates important achievements in the relationship between Vietnam and Norway, and make recommendations to promote the relationship between the two countries in the following years.

Foreign policies of Slovakia and the situation of Vietnam - Slovakia relationship

Abstract: As a member of the European Union since 2004, Slovakia has fully participated in the mechanisms of planning and implementation of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy. The cooperation between Slovakia and other actors in the world is also within the framework of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy. However, Slovakia also has its own foreign policy orientation, which are: (i) Strengthening integration, with priority given to the cooperation with the EU and its member states; (ii) Promoting cooperation with the United States; (iii) Improving cooperation neighboring countries; (iv) Implementing foreign policy for the development of the economy. The paper analyzes the Slovakia’s foreign policy and reviews the cooperation between Vietnam and Slovakia in recent years.
