Russia’s status in the Asia-Pacific region in contemporary

Abstract: The Asia-Pacific region has long attracted the attention of superpowers with its important geo-strategic location, cultural diversity and great development potential. In recent years, the regional security architecture has become increasingly complex with the assertive rise of China, the US pivot policy, and the rise of conflict in several flashpoints. In addition, many developing countries are also gradually asserting their voices through multilateral cooperation mechanisms, especially when globalization becomes a common trend of all mankind. In that context, many researchers raise the question: what role does the Russian "bear" - after a long hibernation period that is making a strong comeback in international politics, play in this volatile region? Proper analysis of Russia's position in the Asia-Pacific will make an important contribution to foreign policy making of countries in the region.

Geopolitical factors in the Eastern partnership (EaP) of Poland and EU

Abstract: In the process of regional integration, the European Union has made a lot of efforts in formulating Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) and other regional initiatives. In 2009, the Eastern Partnership (EaP) - a regional initiative proposed by Poland aimed at further promoting the EU’s neighbourly relations with the Eastern countries. The article focuses on analyzing the geopolitical characteristics of the Eastern region, its impact on the policy direction of Poland and the EU, and shed light on one of the driving forces behind the EU's Eastern dimension and the Polish initiative from a geopolitical perspective.

The experiences of developing the digital economy and digital society in Estonia

Abstract: Developing the digital economy and digital society is placed at a high priority in the national development strategies, especially in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Researching on practical experiences in the world reveals that Estonia has a lot of successful stories in building a digital economy and digital society from the ground up with a clear roadmap and methodical step-by-step approach. This article discusses the process of building a digital economy and digital society in Estonia after more than 30 years of independence, from which to evaluate the results achieved and draw the lessons learned.

Africa and Russia-Ukraine conflict

Abstract: On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the “special military operation” in Ukraine, cast a long shadow from Europe to North America and to the rest of the world, including Africa. This war has not ended until now. Both Russia and Ukraine have been and are important economic partners of many African countries, especially Russia’s relations with Africa. Therefore, the Russia-Ukraine conflict has caused a global shock in general and in Africa in particular. This article analyzes in depth the stances and views of African countries on the Russia-Ukraine conflict; The consequences that Africa faced from the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the role of the international community (both bilateral and multilateral). Africa countries themselves must take actions to save Africa to mitigate the bottlenecks caused by the conflict. The issues analyzed are relatively specific and predictive, helping to clarify the relationship between Africa and Russia, the US and the West.

The revolutionary humanity in the thought of F.Engels

Abstract: This article aims to contribute to the affirmation of the spirit of revolutionary humanity in the thought of F. Engels in two contents as follows: Firstly, the ideology of class liberation, social emancipation and F. Engels’ wholehearted dedication to the revolutionary movement of the proletariat and the working people; Secondly, a noble humanitarian spirit for people and human liberation. F. Engels’ progressive ideas with profound humanity will always be the torch to light the way and encourage countries with socialist goals, including Vietnam, to strive to build a new society.

The role of the Federal Republic of Germany in solving the crisis in Ukraine from 2014 to present

Abstract: The Ukraine crisis, which has had a significant impact on EU geopolitics since 2014, has served as a “test” for Germany’s role in the EU. In fact, Germany has made a considerable contribution to the resolution of the Ukraine crisis, as well as the regulation of Russian-EU relations in general. This article aims to contribute to understanding the role and outcomes of Germany in Ukraine crisis by analyzing its policies, actions as well as dealing with the relationship between major states participating in the search for peace in Ukraine from 2014 to the present.

World Heritage Convention 1972: Historical overview and implementation in some European countries

Abstract: The Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (1972 Convention) is the most influence international convention, applied by all member states in the protection and management of the world heritage sites. Today, the world heritage sites in Europe are faced by many effective factors such as climate change, natural disasters, and unsuitable development. It has been posing challenge in conservation in order to preserve world heritage sites for the future generations.

Italy’s solutions to prevent fake news related to COVID-19 and recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract: Italy is a country that has experienced a strong COVID-19 outbreak since the beginning of 2020, along with that, the country also faced a situation where the percentage of fake news published online with content related to COVID-19 increased sharply. From studying Italy’s solutions to prevent fake news related to COVID-19, the article draws some recommendations for Vietnam.

Coastal and offshore wind power development in the European Union and suggestions for Vietnam

Abstract: The article provides an overview of the current situation of wind power development and the process of promoting by the European Union (EU) so that the wind power plays an increasingly important role in the region's economy. By researching and analyzing data related to the wind power development in the EU region, the article states that the use of this energy source has achieved many important improvements, adding significantly every year to the energy supply source of EU countries. To achieve that success, the EU implemented many different solutions such as: building a power transmission system, connecting to a smart grid; financial support; research and development of the wind power technology; mobilize the participation of the private and public sectors and these can be considered as experiences for Vietnam to refer to.
