EU’s Global Gateway Strategy and its prospects for implementation

Abstract: In December 2021, the EU issued the Global Gateway Strategy with multi-dimensional goals to enhance the EU's security, development and position interests in the international arena. This strategy has acquired the broad attention of the international community from different perspectives. On that basis, this article will focus on analyzing the main contents of the Strategy, assessing its implications and forecasting prospects for implementation in the coming period.

Differences in Russia’s and EU’s approaches to countries of the post-Soviet space

Abstract: In recent years, cooperation and trust between Russia and the European Union (EU) have come to the lowest level since the Cold War. One of the basic causes which negatively affects the relations is the difference of Russia and the EU in the approach to countries of the post-Soviet space. The article focuses on analyzing differences of each side’s approach. The change in each side’s policy for this area takes slowly over time. Russia and the EU have its own strategies to attract countries in post-Soviet space into their orbits. It has led to a shift in the post-Soviet space in the trend of integration or separating from the influence of Russia.

Economic relations between Russia and the US in recent years

Abstract: In recent years, the situation in the world and in the region has undergone many changes. This is also the period in which the relationship between Russia and the US in general, in which economic relations, has a strong fluctuation. In addition to negative impacts from the international and regional context, there are also direct impacts from the Ukraine crisis since 2014 and Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine from the end of February 2022, that is pushing Russia-US relations relations to a multi-year low.

Medical and educational aid from German Democratic Republic to Vietnam during the period of 1954-1975

Abstract: During the period of the anti-American resistance for national salvation (1954-1975), the Vietnamese healthcare and education sectors had to face numerous challenges. In addition to the difficulties of lacking facilities and equipment, the staff was insufficient and inexperienced. Facing these challenges, besides to the Governments efforts, the Vietnamese healthcare and education sectors also received support and assistance from many socialist countries, including the German Democratic Republic (GDR). This paper focuses on analyzing the process of medical and educational aid from GDR to Vietnam during the period of 1954-1975 in order to express the respect for the support from people and the government of GDR as well as the success of the Vietnamese Communist Party's foreign policy in taking advantages of international enthusiasm.

Abstract: The views of K.Marx and F.Engels on art are the scientific foundation for analyzing and evaluating the development and impact of art on social existence in each certain historical period. Vietnam is in the process of developing and economic, cultural and social integration; the views of K.Marx and F.Engels on art has a significance in orienting contemporary art activities to continue promoting the good values ​​of the national tradition, contribute to changing practice, take the initiative in the struggle against reactionary forces on the ideological and cultural field. This article analyzes the views of K. Marx and F. Engels on art and explains its meaning in orienting artistic literary activities in Vietnam today.

Germany’s education system and its implications for Vietnam

Abstract: The German education system has a history of development for hundreds of years and is known for its early streaming compulsory education which is based on each student's ability, from which children in Germany will soon have a future development orientation. The article explores the early streaming education system of Germany and draws some implications for Vietnam.

Ten years (2011-2021) of Vietnam – Germany strategic partnership: Achievements and outlook

Abstract: After 47 years of establishing relations, the Federal Republic of Germany and Vietnam have actively cooperated in many fields from politics and security to economy, culture and society. The two countries have committed towards building a comprehensive cooperative relationship for the benefit of both sides. This article focuses on highlighting the cooperation achievements between the two sides in the past time, and at the same time identifies the prospects for cooperation in the coming time.
