International cooperation mission on science and technology under the protocol with Hungary

Mission title: “The impacts of globalization on the progress of some transitional economies in Eastern Europe and Vietnam”

The mission of the protocol “The impacts of globalization on development process of some transitional economies in Eastern Europe and Vietnam” is directed by Dr. Nguyen An Ha and responsible by Institute for European Studies, in the cooperation with Institute for World Economy - Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The task is carried out in two years (2011-2012), while Vietnam is on the implementation process of the resolution of Congress XI, with the purpose of investigating the impacts of globalization on each country and drawing lessons to provide theoretical and practical policy development, enhancing combining strengths of nation and epoch, as well as domestic and international power. 

+ Doing research on the impacts of globalization on some transitional economies in Eastern Europe like Hungary, Poland, Czech and Vietnam;

+ Drawing lessons learnt, policy recommendations to promote positive effects while limiting negative impacts of globalization on Vietnam and Hungary;

+ Reinforcing the cooperation between scientists, research institutes in Vietnam andHungary, Poland and Czech.

The main contents of the local research:

Part 1:  The characteristics and trends of the globalization in the early decades of XXI century

Part 2: The impact of globalization on the progress of some transitional economies in the first two decades of the XXI century.

Part 3: Vietnam in the globalization process in the early years of XXI century

Part 4: Experience of Eastern European countries and some solutions to cope with the impacts of globalization on development process in Vietnam.

The protocol mission “The impact of globalization on the progress of some transitional economies in Eastern Europe and Vietnam” in under process and will be inspected at the state level at the end of 2012.
